The revamp of the KonSer app focuses on creating a seamless, user-friendly, and trustworthy experience across the customer journey — from onboarding, browsing events, to purchasing tickets. The goal is to reduce friction, increase conversions, and strengthen brand loyalty by addressing pain points that typically lead to user drop-offs.
Onboarding: Simplify sign-up with faster logins, clear value propositions, and light personalization to immediately connect users with relevant events.
Home page: Present a curated, engaging event discovery experience, intuitive navigation, and rich visuals that highlight trending or featured events.
Purchase flow: Streamline the checkout process into fewer steps, ensure transparent pricing, offer diverse local/global payment options, and reinforce ticket security.
Challenges
The detailed problem in design consistency is that we’re currently managing multiple forms of design components which creating confusion for both user and tech team to digest and manage.
High drop-off rates during sign-up due to too many steps or unclear value.
Information overload from too many event listings.
Limited time for revamps and no review data in the app.
Solutions
Simplify onboarding: offer social logins, phone/email OTP, and guest checkout.
Streamline navigation: clear categories, “Featured events” section, and persistent search bar.
Enhance visuals: use cards, rich media (images), and countdowns to spark interest.
Streamline the checkout process: limit to 2-3 steps with progress indicators. Be transparent by displaying upfront pricing, fees, and refund policies.
